Provider Summary

Zoom VoIP hardware offerings currently include the X5v and V3 products. Both products have a VoIP voice port, router, gateway, firewall, and four-port Ethernet switch. The X5v also includes a built-in ADSL modem, whereas the V3 is designed to plug into a cable modem. When sold under the Zoom brand at retail, these products include Zoom's Global Village' VoIP long-distance phone service. Global Village requires absolutely no financial commitment for a number of useful capabilities, including the ability to make free VoIP calls to Global Village customers and most other VoIP users anywhere in the world. Another free Global Village service is your own chat room where you can have a conference call with up to four other Global Village customers. Global Village customers all have a VoIP phone number for incoming calls from VoIP callers. Global Village also lets a customer make low-cost calls to any phone anywhere in the world even if it is only connected to the traditional Public Switched Telephone Service.
