Vodafone has introduced two flat rate tariffs for 3G access on a PC.

It
seems that Vodafone is not about to concede defeat to wireless
networking standards just yet. Bowing to the inevitable, it has
launched two new flat rate tariffs for its PC 3G cards: 24 hours for
£8.50 and one month for £25.

It's not quite as straightforward as that, however, according to tech site the Register.
"Naturally there is a hidden maximum use clause. There's a 3GB 'fair
usage policy' for the UK, which on the 24 hour version falls to 500MB
fair usage policy, while 24 hour roaming sessions are subject to a 50MB
limit," it reported.
