Finland: Plenware develops VoIP application for mobiles

Helsinki, 18 November, 2005

Finnish Plenware Plenware, a company providing telecommunication systems and software development services, has developed a VoIP application for mobile phones that enables also mobile Internet calls. Initially, the application works in Nokia 6630 phones and, in future, also in other mobile phones.

The Plenware VoIP application uses Bluetooth to connect with the Plenware PleNet VoIP server. The application is Symbian-based, and it utilises the technology and data communication of the phone.
