LONDON: VoIP operator Truphone is offering its software for Nokia's N80 mobiles enabling users to make free VoIP calls.
London-based Truphone is launching a free download for these Wi-Fi-enabled devices in the next few days, following introduction of similar software for Nokia's E series business handsets. Using Truphone software, users can make free calls to other mobile handsets within Wi-Fi hotspots.
As part of the launch offer, Truphone is also providing free calls to landlines in cities in several countries until the end of December to those signing up for the software. Thereafter, calls will be charged at VoIP rates.
