Consumer VoIP Plans Get Aggressive

Verizon (www.verizon.com) and Vonage (www.vonage.com) have both made changes to their consumer VoIP offerings, each taking a more aggressive path from their previous offerings.

Verizon has slashed the monthly price of their consumer VoIP offering from $34.95 to $24.95 per month, according to a recent press release from TeleGeography (www.telegeography.com), putting the service price at the same level as Vonage's unlimited plan.
