Open Screen Project on a VoIP Phone

by Anonymous (not verified)

Earlier this year Adobe announced Open Screen Project which is supposed to drive rich internet experiences and enable a consistent application interface across multiple devices like personal computers, mobile phones, PDA’s, and other electronics.

I have heard that the main goal of the project is to bring Adobe Flash to mobile phones. I wonder what that means for VoIP… will we be watching movies on VoIP enabled handheld devices.  Oooh, I bet movie execs and licensing attorneys are sweating in their Pradas thinking about how to control this one.  Open Source could be making control freaks a little mad but VoIP and open source are here to stay.

Anyone else hear new details about Open Screen Project on VoIP handsets update us here.  Enquiring minds want to know…
