The hunt for the next Skype has begun. After the Swedish-Danish VoIP software company was acquired by eBay for $2.6 billion this year, investors are back on track and eager to invest in the ICT industry in Scandinavia.
Adding to their enthusiasm was the recent news about Rebtel, a Swedish company that offers free mobile phone calls using VoIP, securing $20 million from California?s Benchmark Capital of Menlo Park and Geneva-based Index Ventures.
