Customer Service : This company is terrible. I had to change my CC info because it was stolen and tried for TWO WEEKS to get ahold of their billing department to change it. Finally after two weeks thy canceled my number causing me to lose thousands of dollars in orders. I finally talk to a rep and the refused to do anything to help me.

Using Nextiva for office

Sound Quality : Clear and can't tell a difference when compared to copper.

Customer Service : Helpful and easy to get in touch with. They know what they are talking about each time I call. Not tough to speak with.

We have been using their service since september '08 and our experience has been terrific. We called them a few times when we signed up for the service because we needed help with setting everything up and to make sure we were doing things right. Since then I've called occasionally to ask basic questions and the people they've got in support have always been helpful and nice to speak with. Based on the customer service, they deserve 5 stars. But the service itself has been perfect the entire time. What we get is great, especially saving some money off our phone bill when compared with our Verizon service.

Nextiva doesn't work for call forwarding

Features : The call forwarding to cell phone at all times has now become a problem after 2 months of being with Nextiva. I am out of my office quite a bite so the best solution is to have the call forwarding on permanently. I went 3 days with no incoming calls. The work around is to have my desk phone ring then my cell phone. Well the work around is not a solution that I can count on. It is now 7 days with the call forwarding problem. Tech support cannot tell me when the problem for the call forwarding will be fixed. A supervisor was to have called me on the day I called for one. Well no call from a supervisor. Before this problem I was on the phone with tech support a lot just trying to get my phone system features up. I finally got a tech who understood what I was saying to help me. I’m now looking for another VOIP provider. I hate to think of the new customers I have lost.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! It was the biggest nightmare. My phones never worked right and it is impossible to get a hold of someone and they don't care. All these good reviews are a lie and a scam. They must make them up. There is no way this company could get a good review.

This review form is tough to understand but Id like to share my experience with Nextiva. I was using Packet8 since last May (2008). My service was fine, I had occasional quality problems. The service with Packet8 was down for sometime during the summer as well as in January - I've noticed a total of about 25 hours down in just 11 months. This includes my last experience on wednesday, which was april fools. It was not a prank though. My service didn't work in the morning and I decided it was time to cut them off. I switched to Nextiva the next day and today is my second day using their service. I still havent gotten the phones from them but something tells me they are far better. Customer service has been helpful and they did a good job of guiding me on what to expect. I like Nextiva so far, I won't ever say the same for Packet8.

This is the first VoIP system I have tried that actually sounds as good or better than my old phone company.

Setting up my system took some assistance from customer service, because there are so many options.  They were extremely helpful and knowledgable.  Once they showed me the way, I had it all up and running within an hour.

Features :

Nextiva has a feature set that is similar to the competition.  However, Nextiva's features actually work.  Thats' more than I can say about some of the other companies I have tried.

I view nextiva as much more than a phone service since I've been using them for quite a while now. I had a few issues during the setup because my Internet with comcast is kinda odd but since working everything out, everything has been right. I should mention that it was their support that resolved the internet issue not comcast. I was expecting that the people in nextiva's support were going to tell me to contact comcast, but that was never the case. The call quality has sounded clear and my internet has not interfered with anything since setup.

Switching our service with ten extensions was not something that we decided to do in one evening. We researched providers and found which company would be the best fit based on our needs. This included, good support, a useable interface and great service. We made our decision to go with Nextiva after we compared them with our current provider as well as another hosted solution. Looking at the costs and the benefits it made most sense to go with Nextiva and the decision has worked out. Our numbers transferred successfully and the e service itself is far better that what we had before switching to nextiva.
