FREECALL.COM FRAUD
NEW USERS, Please note, FREECALL.COM fraudulently claim to provide 300 Free minutes of calling.
My wife just used 180 minutes and found her self being charged for minutes that were free.
Freecall claimed that this was according to their freeuse policy.
Freecall refused to answer a large number of emails also BETAMAX.com their parent company refused to answer emails or complaints from all their usual sources.
New Users should note that calls are BILLED from the moment the number "starts ringing", not when the number answers.
New users need to know that FREECALL.COM fail to allow their access number system to call the same variety of numbers, for example, my wife calls an eastern european country that is labled as FREE however she cannot dial from a phone access number.
I used VOIP BUSTER and some of the access numbers appear to work jointly,
that is, if you have voipbuster and freecall, your calls will be billed to the separate accounts but it appears that the total is used by freecall to limit calls. Thats the only explanation I can deduce for their activitites.
The next problem is that their access numbers cannot be removed.
Once you remove a number, that number can still have access for days into the future, ours changed or altered a week ago are still active and able to dial out.
My wife became incensed when she realized how she had been ripped off and I asked her to give the company time to respond. I personally must have sent off 12 odd contact forms and an email to betamax, but not a single response.
Their telephone numbers for all their companies in Germany do not answer.
Obviously, they don't tell any new customer about how customer service does not exist.
I would strongly suggest that you look for alternative VOIP dialing untill such time as FREECALL.com and VOIPBUSTER.com aka BETAMAX.com get their act together.
AVOID freecall.com their free minutes are not free but charged at regular rate.

Freecall.com cheat
FREECALL.COM Credit Card Fraud
Be Warned. FREECALL.com state 300 minutes per week. Reality is that your Ten euro account will be drained rapidly, and you will hear "you have reached your maximum number of freecall minutes". Now, in the last few weeks, that limit has been reached as low as 110 minutes per week and it stays OFF for days until you send them a dirty email threatening a bank reversal on their credit card.
FREECALL IS NOT FREE, they may also be totallying ANY minutes used by any of the companies owned by Betamax. They refer to "unique IP address", that sounds like code for any user on any of their services with different companies.
FREECALL is FRAUD - Remember you are also paying a Euro 0.50 Fee for each transaction, and currency conversion, in Canadian dollars that equates to around CAD $18 per $10 Euro, at that rate, its close to the rate charged by CiCi Calling cards.
To check your minutes, look at the recent use, and tick on all calls, add up your minutes , NOTICE that they record calls that did NOT ANSWER!
Thats not a call and its not in their terms and conditions.
Thats fraud also.
FREECALL seem to keep coming up with new company names and apparently all are one of the same BETAMAX that ties all your various accounts under "One Unique IP Address", only solution, get your IP to reguarly change your IP address.
Try VoIP from your browser
I recommend using a free voip provider first before paying credits to anyone. Use www.freebuzzer.com for exmaple, they let you make free short calls.
12Voip
They have many voip systems and are doing this in all of them! I guess BETAMAX is the holding.
I use 12voip, before they gave 200 min a week, now with no notice they have chanced info on site... Now it says:
** 12Voip reserves the right after a certain amount of calls to start charging the default rate. FREE CALLS are available for users with Freedays.
I made fee calls and they stated charging me!!!!
Is there anything to do?
12VoIP is a FRAUD
Shame on betamax... I paid 10 euros in order to have 3 months of freedays call to italy and they are charging for minutes and for connection!! This is clearly a fraud! and nobody can do anything to stop this people.... I sent them many email to ask them for fixing up the problem... but,,, you know what ZERO answers.... DO NOT USE 12VoIP!!
12VoIP is a FRAUD
12VoIP is just a FRAUD (and probably also VOIPRAISER and VoIPSTUNT). They tell you about freedays to make freecalls but they give you nothing and increase the costs as well... as time passes costs/fee rise... so, no freedays and now they are also charging me the connection fee!! REMEMBER.... what I say to you it is true... much better you use these services without paying anything if you find a way to do it!!
BETAMAX IS GENUINE AND THE CHEAPEST....
BETAMAX FRAUD
BETAMAX is stupid
Hi
I recently registered to Voip12.
They claim to give 300 free minutes per week in my country, but it ended with around 150 free minutes per week.
The worst part is that by cheating customers they cheat on themselves. It would be wiser to write on the website what they offer and stick to that.
I bought a domain in order to start a reseller program since the market here is good, but i don't want to start something if i can't have support and quality information. Also, if my client asks me why he misses 150 free minutes each week, i don't want to tell him that i sold him crap. Better not do it at all than to spit on myself.
So far i sent "only" two e-mails asking about their counting of "free minutes" bu i got no replies so far. If you have customer support, than do it. If you don't want to have customer support, write with big letters that you do not have customer support.
I guess they can always stop with 12VOIP and open a 13VOIP and continue with the same thing, but it sucks.
So far, i don't have a good opinion about 12VOIP.
One thing i noticed about their customer support - there is a contact form you can access from your account. But when you write on it, you also have to write down your e-mail address. that means that they absolutely don't know which customer is asking for help. during registration i had to write my e-mail, so they should have my e-mail and link in with my user name, so they can track down the problem, right?
OMG
