FREE International Calls and let the US Taxpayer foot the bill

A new breed of VoIP services are emerging in the US offering totally free international calls to a wide variety of destinations around the world and all of this on the back of the American tax payer.

Over the past few months a few companies (see list below) in the US State of Iowa have launched a service offering free international calls to mainly landlines in up to 50 countries/destinations around the world (see below) and in some cases even to mobile phones.
