VoIP Affiliate Programs:

Many VoIP providers use "affiliate" programs to promote their services. Affiliates are rewarded for every visitor, subscriber and/or customer provided through his efforts, including but not limited to placing banners on websites. Generally the VoIP providers offer a once off payment for every new customer subscribing to their service and in some cases recurring income is also offered. Payments are made once a certain monetary threshold is achieved. Some of the affiliate programs are run by the VoIP providers themselves and others use third party services.

VoIP Reseller/Agent Programs:

Most VoIP providers offer reseller /agent (some are called distributor) programs. Here the VoIP provider offers packages for the potential reseller to setup their own VoIP business. These programs vary with some offering full turn-key websites and others just offering access to their back office. In essence the resellers buy wholesale VoIP airtime and resell it under their own brandname with own markups. In many cases this is an easy way to enter the booming VoIP market. Please note that all marketing activities are the responsibility of the reseller.

VoIP Refer-a-Friend Programs:

Genrally "Refer-a-Friend" programs offer existing VoIP subscribers the possibility to refer family and friends and receive one or two months service for free. A few VoIP providers also offer the free month or two to the new subscriber.
